Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral position supported by a Wellcome Trust – DBT funded project on NF-kB signaling in the immune system and cancer.
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country. ISER Tirupati is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. This new institute started functioning from the 2015 academic year in the month of August.
Qualifications
The candidate should possess:
- A Ph.D. degree in a relevant area.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Protein Purification, molecular cloning, cell culture.
- Experience in microscopic methods, as well as flow cytometry, will be an advantage.
Duration
The project is up to Aug 2023 and the initial recruitment will be made for 2 years with possible extension depending on progress.
Salary
A consolidated salary of Rs. 50,000/- will be paid during the first year with an increase in salary during the second year.
